I purchased a Kenmore washer in Sept. The dial failed in Oct and it was repaired under warranty.
The same dial failed in March. I asked that a permanent repair or replacement be performed since this is a continuing issue. The washer is great when it runs. They mentioned they would not swap it out but the repair will resolve the issue.
On Oct the dial failed again. When I called they mentioned it was 1 month outside of warranty and they could not repair the washer without charging me. I explained the history and they kept updating about being out of warranty.

My problem is I asked them to permanently repair a reoccurring issue or replace the device and they chose to repair it. Since their solution of repair was not correct I do not feel I should be responsible for the same part failing again. Just replace it with a washer that does not have this issue or repair the dial.
