On 9/13 I ordered a portable Air Conditioner from Compact Appliance. Less than 30 days the portable a/c unit was defected. They sent me another unit and it was refurbished. I called them and spoke with Patrick (Sales & Services) and he told me that he would send me another unit and that this unit would be new. For the second time the unit was also refurbished. The company has several names. When you place an order through Compact Appliance, the product is sent by anothet company called LivingDirect.com. The manufacturer who sent me the 1st replacement (who manufactures the product) is called EdgeStar.com. They all have the same address out of Austin, Texas.
