I saw an add in the newspaper for Hometown Motors. It states... Fast reliable friendly service. I went and got a 2001 ford taurus and they started the vehicle, watered it off, and i signed a as is no warranty paper and finished the paperwork and i am to pick up the title for this vehicle on Friday from the dealer. I drove the car about 3 mi to school since i had a class. I get out of class, drive home and pick up my son and his father to show the car. He says its overheating. We go and put anti-freeze into it because it didnt have any coolant. They take me to my next class and cant make it around the corner before the car overheats again. So they wait until i get out of class and come pick me up. We put more anti-freeze but it had all leaked out within 20 min. We take the car back a.S.A.P. And the dealer says they cant put us in a replacement vehicle until they can repair ours. I tell them i just want my money back i dont want the car anymore its a deffective lemon. I didnt even have the car for 4 hrs before we took it back. They refuse to refund my money or let me speak directly to the owner or manager. They have given me the run around for a week now. They are gonna charge us the repair cost for a busted hose when clearly the car has been abused. My sons father says it drives like the transmission is going out and it still has countless of other things the dealer did not explain that was wrong with the vehicle. Please help...
