Received Bill 7 Months After Cancellation

I cancelled my Direct TV service in January. They did not want the boxes returned but wanted the cards. Cards sent in. Received that same month a final statement from them showing a zero balance due.

In August I received a bill from Direct TV stating that I owed them $68.00 for pay per view movies. I called Direct TV - tried to explain to the representative that I have not had a phone line to the house for over 8 years. I was told that the charges were for Oct & Nov. I tried to explain to the rep that I did not even know how to order pay per view and could not without an operational phone line. The rep would not allow me to talk, she continued to but in. Finally as I began to talk over her "yelling" he hung up on me. Since then I have received emails, statements, flyers trying to get me to switch back to Direct TV and thousands of harassing phone calls that are traced back to Direct TV.

Stay far away from this company!
