Signed contract on house December 23. As of today April 5 our house is not complete.
Ground was broke on April 15. The footer poured all out the sides when it was poured due to house being built off grade and form boards removed within a hour after last truck.
Come August the house could not pass inspections because the walls had kicked out and the roof was caving in. All rafters and ceiling joist were coming apart. November they had to take the whole roof off the house.
In Feburary we finally had drywall, this to was messed up and redone. The windows had to be custom framed cause there was no other way to make them square.
They house supposedly was sanded and primed twice. We started painting the house and the are whole walls that were never sanded. Everyone that has come and worked on the house has told us how messed up it was.
March, house still not done. House was forced tendered to us. The keys they left don't even fit our house. The house failed all final inspections this past week. We can't move into the house and have been told our first payment is due in May.
Our house has failed inspection after inspection. We have been told it was hiccups or that the problems are cosmetic. We have had to fight every step of the way for things to be done right.
We have been informed they are done with the house. There are still things they have not completed in the house. Our tubs are all molded and scratched were the roof was taken off. Attic not complete, door has not been installed. All shelving has not been installed. Holes in walls. The list just goes on and on.
Also when we bought our house salesman told us we would be getting a complete appliance package. He said we would get stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. We asked where the rest of our appiances are and was told all we get is stove and dishwasher.
We were also told by the salesman that our house would be ready in 5 to 7 months.
This house has been our BIGGEST NIGHTMARE. Buyer beware. We wish we had went somewhere else and had known what we do now. We would have went with the other company we were looking at and would have already been in our house.
