In July of we signed a contract with Jim Walter Homes to have them build a new Cypress Home on our lot. It's now February and our house is not done yet (we were told it would take 4-8 months). It's a long, ugly story but the bottom line is, Jim Walter is playing hard ball and refuses to commit to a finish date.
Among other things, our roof trusses sat out in the weather for over 7 months and had to be scabbed in order to make code. Now, I have a scab sticking thru the dry wall in my kitchen. We're at the end of our rope. I can't even get a crew at the house every day.
Don't believe the lies from Jim Walter Homes.
