We purchased a new washer and dryer and had them delivered the first week of JULY. The dryer has not worked properly since we received it. The service people stated that the circut breaker was not properly set. The dryer still continued to not dry clothing properly. We then had the vent checker fy a professional service cleaning company to satisfay East Coast. The sompany was Service Pro and they stated that the vent was clear.
They noted that the dryer was getting hot but the dryer exhaust outlet was not hot stating thet the dryer exhaust fan was not operating. We also told East Coast that the smell of burning wire was emitting frfom the dryer. We asked them to replace the dryer but they stated that was not possible.
This dryer is located in a townhouse that is approximately in the middle of nine townhouses abd poses a potential life safety hazzard. Our request is to have the dryer replaced.
