We purchased a Nexus 4g Samsung phone at the Arrowhead town Center from Steven Flores on July 18th at 7:21 PM. We did not want to purchase a phone plan because we were going to be added to Blanks account (an added line to her account). We would have to pay a larger amount for the phone without the coverage plan. So Steven Flores asked for Blanks name and we gave it to him. He brought up the account and we verified that that was the correct person. He added an extra line and he then said that the phone would be sent to us. When we got home we called Blank and told her of our purchase and that we were added to her account and for Blank to bill us for that extra line charge. She asked us how we did that without any security questions or passwords? We told her what had happened and she got upset that someone could just walk up and give a name and have an extra line put on someone else’s account. So at that point we went to the kiosk to have the extra line canceled and they told us that they could not help us. I then said how is it that you can add a line to someone else’s account and bill them without any security questions or passwords but you could not cancel the extra line and they said you have to cancel it after you get the phone. I said that is hard to believe. That is when Kenny who also works at the kiosk backed up Steven Flores about how you do not need a security question or password but then he paused and said that you need a social security number. I said we did not need a social security number yesterday. At that point he continued to back up Steven Flores. I then asked to talk to a manager and Steven Flores said that he was a manager. I then asked to talk to his boss. He gave me a business card with John Bowersocks name and phone number (316-616-7660) I called John Bowersock and the first thing he said was not hello but (who is this) I then told him about how we had a line added without passwords or security questions and that we wanted our money back for the phone we purchased. He said not to sign for the phone when it gets to our house and that he will have the money added back to our visa gift card. We did not find out that the money was never put back on our visa gift card until I went to use it on August 28th when I purchased some boots at the same mall. I went to the customer service desk at the mall and had them check how much was on the card. I then asked who do I talk to if I have a problem with how someone was running one of the kiosk and they gave me a name (Dawn Rowley) and number. I talked to Dawn Rowley and she said let me call him. About ten minutes later John Bowersock called me and told me that I have to call 1-800 sprint1 to get my money. So I called Sprint and talked to someone there and told them what happened and they said I am sorry sir but you can only get your money back from the kiosk that you bought the phone at. I then called Dawn Rowley and she told me that when she talked to John Bowersock he said that he would cut us a check. I said to Dawn Rowley that it sounds like I am getting the run around, she said it certainly does, let me call him back. John Bowersock called back and told me again that I would have to get my money from Sprint. I said that sprint told me to get the money from you since you run the kiosk that I bought the phone from. He then wanted to know what name and phone number that this was going to be put under. I said Blank and then he asked for her phone number. I then said why do you need her phone number. He said for a reference. I said no, I just want my money. He then said do you want to do a three way call with sprint so I said ok. He got sprint on the line and they said it would be a 2 to 3 hour wait. He then said isn’t there someone that I can talk to now. They said we are very busy. So he hung up with sprint and then said can you come down to the kiosk tomorrow and I will give you your money back. I said ok I will see you at 4:00 pm. I still have the receipt for the phone and all the information on Blank’s account. I would never let any of these people (John Bowersock, Steven Flores or Kenny) ever work for my company because of possible lawsuits). If you care about the sprint company please look into this. Thank you.
