Expired PA Contractor's License

I would very seriously think twice about doing business with John E. Schafer Brick Cleaning & Masonry Pointing-also John E. Schafer or John E. Schafer Brick Cleaning & Pointing -of West Mifflin, PA. He told me he had a valid PA contractors license when I signed a contract in July. His license expired 7/1 and I told him about that. As of 8/19, the license still hadn't been renewed, because "they lost his paperwork!" He will not refund my deposit, so I'm filing a lawsuit. Pa036252
