I bought a Cuttlebug embossing folder last week when they were on sale for 40% off. When I returned home, I found I duplicated the embossing folder. On Monday, 8/29 I returned to the Lancaster store (Lititz Pike) to exchange it for one I didn't have. I was told that I could NOT exchange it because AC MOORE ONLY gives refunds. I was given $3.17 which is what I paid for the folder. However, the folders were off sale and I could not buy a new embossing folder with that amount of money. I left the store.

I then looked at the back of the receipt on the return policy, (yes, I should have looked at it in the store and shown the woman right then and there)... It clearly states that AC Moore DOES give even exchanges. I went back into the store.instead of going to the customer service person that I dealt with, I walked through the store looking for the manager, who I did locate and told her the story. I told her all I wanted was another embossing folder in exchange but I was told there were NO exchanges. She walked with me to the embossing folder area, I chose a new one. She then walked up to Customer Service, gave it to the inept Customer Service person and told her to give it to me for the sale price. It was all very simple... That is ALL this customer rep needed to do.instead, I got a lot of aggravation because this customer rep didn't know what she was talking about.
