I signed up with my credit card to bid on an electric cigarette that would cost $49.99 if I were to "Buy It Now". They took about $70 right away. I thought it was just to make sure that I was a legitimate buyer. The bids were increasing one penny at a time. So, I bid until my bid would no longer post, then I lost the bid.
I thought, "Oh well, glitch in the system wouldn't let me bid". So, I bought it anyway. I didn't realize until after I wrote to customer service and "Adam" responded, that I was charged $. 60 a bid, plus $21 more for the product.
So, grand total, I spent $70 $21 = $91, for a $49.99 electric cigarette.
If you can get my money back, I would deeply appreciate it.
I can believe that I fell into this trap.
Sincerely,
Virginia Glass
