This firm contracted with us and guaranteed us a modification would be obtained on both of our homes. They obtained paperwork from us and claimed with the numbers we had, we qualified 100% for a loan modification. Per the guidelines, we could not be denied with their assistance due to the fact they were attorney's. They also instructed us to stop making any and all payments on the homes. When questioned they stated that this helped force the banks hands to work with us. My homes now are scheduled to be auctioned. We have been denied any type of modification on both houses and are worse off then when this process was started. They claimed they would do a forensic audit which now I am told that costs more money and it was not done in the first place.
