Hope 4 homes today.org and attorney mahan matthew abbasi were supposed to get us a loan modification. We were told by their representatives allan peele, leonard and betty okkayan, that we could get our mortgage payments reduced by half, and even get a interest rate as low as 2-3%,
We were also told that we would better qualify for a loan modification if we were to stop paying our monthly mortgage. We were current on our mortgage up to 08/01/09 until they adviced us to stop paying. We were also told that they needed payment up front to process our new loan.
So we submitted $950.00 in september of 09, $1250.00 in october 09 once we submitted all documents they requested we did not hear from them much at all. It was us that had to pursue them for answers, we kept getting the same reply, it is under review, we then realized this must be a scam, at first we thought everything was legit because of the tv advertising and radio anouncements, i guess you really have to do research on everything in life, we learned the hard way.
These people did absolutely nothing for us. It actually made our mortgage situation worse, and is costing us more on our mortgage to stay in our home, i would like to know if i can counter suit them for all the greive they caused us. They shoul be banned from practicing such acts!!! We are requesting a full refund in the amount of $2200.00 is what we have record of paying hope 4 homes today from a debt card on checking account. I repeat do not do business with hope 4 homes today or mahan matthew abbasi out of los angeles california.
