I had two people from the Chippenham Ovenclean franchise clean 2 ovens, hob and extractor screens. They charged $105 and complained about having to drive all the way from Chippenham to Bath (my husband does this every day so have no sympathy). I found them in a local Bath advertising magazine so would have thought they were planning to cover this area. They cleaned and scrubbed for 2 hours though my units were not that dirty. They didn't clean very well. Lots of oily residue left, bits not cleaned, one hob burner left with gunk in the bottom, lots of smears and a pile of aluminum bits from the scrubbee on the floor. I am especially concerned about the scrubby bits as I have 3 cats and don't need them ingesting this into their bodies. Even tho we cleaned the floor after (they should have done it), I am finding bits tracked throughout the house by the cats. Not good. I really don't want these people back into the house even tho they have called to try to make it right. They knew when they left that we weren't happy and just chose to blow it off. Have talked to other people who had their ovens done and they were raving about it being clean as a whistle. Not the case here. Don't recommend them.
