I have attempted to have my gas turned on, i have call everyone within the Alagasco except the President. I was told on 3 different occasions that the deposit to get my gas turned on was 225.00, once i saved up that amount i called in to get my account number to take to one of the payment outlets i asked if the deposit was still 225.00 and was told NO the deposit would be 625.00.

I escalated the call to a Supervisor and was called back by someone that was taking care of the Supervisor's calls. This person told me that since my gas had been turned of 3 times in teh last year my deposit was at the max which was 575.00, and 50.00 reconnect fee. I informed her that my gas was turned off for the 1st time in March.

When you call you can't get straight answers. We are the consumers and we don't work for the gas company so when we ask questions the workers taking care of us should know what they are talking about, and the answer should not be wavering. I also work in Customer Service and we make sure we investigate a customer's complaint throughly before we make a comittment to them, the answer is not given to the customers 3 different ways, although the last person appologized for the misinformation that still doesn't help the fact, I don't have 625.00 to give to the gas company. I think the i was handled very poorly with communicatio, but ALAGASCO seems to think otherwise. Can I get some good communication and assistance.
