The mediation group contacted me, saying they were told by my mortgage co that I was looking to modify my loan. I paid them $995. They said they were in contact with my lender, and was not to take there calls. They then asked for $1,740. Which I paid $500. I was told my modification was approved. Now only to find out that in am facing foreclosure.
