Thomas Hopes came to my home to sell me a kirby vacume cleaner, he had me sold on a refurbished one I gave him a post dated check for july 1st. When my husband got home he was very upset with me so I called Thomas and told him that I couldnt get the vacume cleaner and that I had canceld the check. On the 6th of July I checked my bank and thomas had cashed the check anywaY and I have no vacume cleaner. I called the bank and of course they have no record of the stop payment so they wont help me so Im out $220 and he's off scott free. Im a single mother of two boys one of which is handicapped and this is alot of money to me. If something can be done to this man I would certainly like it to be done.
