I went to lipsy on friday to buy a dress for my friends wedding which was on saturday, when i got home i took the tag off and hanged the dress in the back room so it didnt crease. On saturday i noticed that the hem was coming off, i didnt wear the dress instead i went out and bought another one from a different shop. Today i went to the store with my receipt, first the manager said she couldn't do anything coz the dress didnt have a tag, then she said the dress was wet, then she said the hem coming off is not a manufacturers faults. I was really angry, i explained to rthe manager that i have been battling cancer for two and half years and i cant afford to pay for something faulty she said she couldnt care less if i lived or died, then she racially abused me. I am appalled and want to take this further. I cant understand why they wont at least repair the hem ive been to numerous dressmakers and they have all said its a manufacturers faults. Lipsy just rip people off. I know people that have worn dresses from there and returned with no tag on and got their money back. My dress is faulty and they wont do anything but they are happy to take ur money. They r thieves and as for the abuse n not caring whether i live or die its outrageous n i hope they suffer like i am
