I went to the McDonalds #6972 at 818 N. Country Club Rd in Ada, Ok this afternoon and purchased two 20 piece nuggets, a quarter pounder and a filet of fish. I paid (got no receipt as usual at this store) and was told to pull forward and wait for my food. My food came out after 9 minutes and I pulled off. I looked at the bag going down the road and realized it was small. I turned around and looked inside and there were only nuggets in there. But they were "thrown" in there and were partially open. Poor quality of service. My other sandwiches weren't there after all that waiting. I had to get out of my car and go inside the rest. A shift manager "Sydney" came to help and acted like it wasn't a big deal. I told her I had no receipt because like usual they didn't give me. She said they always do. But I told her. They don't. Then a girl came up and tried to give me COLD sandwiches 7 minutes later. NO WAY!!! I told her I wanted a refund and she tried to me less money than I paid... Without a receipt I could prove it and she went and got my ticket... Turns out they ADDED a fry on without me knowing!!! I asked for a refund and wasn't offered ANYTHING for all the wasted time. My time waiting for my food or the time returning for the missing items. There is also usually a policy that if you don't a receipt you get free food. This manager didn't care about anything. She gave me my money back and DID not hardly even apologize... She kept a banter between the employee who made the mistake like it was FINE!!!
We go to this particular store a lot but have had 2 other problems in the last weeks but just let it go. Today was the last straw.
I should have been compensated with free food or something and she should have beem compassionate and kind. But she was rude and indignent. What has happened to "service with a smile" and "the customer is always right"? I waited a total of almost 20 minutes for both food and then a refund and went to Sonic for food!!! McDonalds owes ME an apology. Of course I was mad. I take my Granddaughter to McDonalds every weekend and now I feel I cannot because they don't care about the customer and I refuse to spend my money at a company that doesn't care about the customer.
This shift manager was immature and had no idea how to deal with an angry customer and did NOTHING to appease me. Yes I got a refund. But I got NOTHING for all my wasted time and frustration!!!
