I was at Longhorn Steakhouse in Greenville, SC a few weeks ago and had a very bad experience with both service and food. I have been going to this restaurant basically on a weekly basis for many years and typically spend between $70.00 and $90.00 each time. This time I had a waitress who just did not care. To keep it short, my food came out cold, and my daughter's food came out cold. She even went so far as to stick her finger down in my potato - at the table! - to try to convince me that it was the sour cream that was cold and not the potato, which was 100% incorrect. Then at one point we waited 45 minutes to get a mixed drink. Then, my food came out wrong, and cold, the next time. Then I spoke to a manager who said he had been there since August of last year and he acted like he didn't care either. He said "Well, what do you want me to do?" To which I responded, YOU are the manager so you should know what to do, and I shouldn't have to tell you. I have been a regular customer there for years and I do not appreciate those type of food & service issues there, or anywhere else. Everyone around us was complaining too. I ended up having to walk up to the bar to even pay the tab. The only person who seemed to care at all was the bartender, and that's it. Very bad experience and I told the manager I may never come back after that.
