I thought I had seen bad customer service before I opened an account at Metro PCS, but this is without doubt the worst ever. They don't have people, and the automated system is useless. I was assigned a number in a whole different area code from where I live, then they told me I had to pay $5.00 to change the number. After an hour of wrangling with the automated system I finally got a so-called customer service person, who was so obviously reading a script that I started mocking him and to boot he had such a speech impediment I could barely understand him. He charged me to change the number and I still don't have a local number, but one in a different county which is long distance from my home phone. Their lack of service is the worst of any company I have ever dealt with. They tell me how much I am saving by being frustrated by their system, but who needs it!
DO NOT get tied up with this sorry ass company, you'll regret it!
