After estimating well what the approximate weight of my shipment, this company gouged me for more than double the price originally quoted. The movers (liberal description) that showed up spent most of the day banging my furniture into walls and expensive cherrywood fixtures while leaving my front doors propped open for over 8 hours in the middle of a very cold NJ winter. They were abusive to each other and my furniture and seemed to expect me to feed them as well. They spent tank of fuel oil approx. $150.
They are avoiding me and holding my things hostage for $4,000 additional dollars after I reluctantly gave them a $1,000 down payment. Help me someone. (Until then I will pursue it with the authorities)
