My name is Marcus Johnson. I was stationed at FT. Hood, TX from 11. I received my Time Warner membership in 2006 before my second deployment to Iraq. I could not discontinue my service before the deployment because of the fast pace to leave. So I stored the time warner digital box in my storage. I received notice that I had an unpaid bill from time warner, so I paid the bill in Iraq over the phone. Because I did not turn in the box, the credit bureau was notified and my credit report reflected. The box was paid for also while in Iraq after notification from the credit bureau. I received my items out of storage after returning and in 2009 I turned in the box to time warner at the Killeen, TX office. I received a turn in slip and was told that I should receive my money back after turning in the box. I was told to wait 6-8 weeks and a check will come to my mailing address. That never happened. I returned to the time warner office with a copy of the time warner turn - in slip and document from the credit company stating the item number, confirmation number and paid in full statement. I gave the personnel a copy and I was again told I will receive my payment. That never happened. So far about 10 months has gone by and I have not received any notification from the establishment about my check. Can someone please provide me some help in receiving my payment? Dollar amount for digital box was estimated at $320.
