When you go to a parts store and ask for parts that you need It`s because you have areal good idea of what your going to do to take care of your car or truck.in my case a truck A/C went outI went to Adance Auto#5153 Bought an A/C compresser oil, orfuis tube, freon. At this time the sealsman never told me that I had to have a auto mechanic install it. So I take it home install it in I don`t have a devac system so I took it to a will respected mechanic he devacs it I payed$40.00 done. It worked for two days and it locks up. So I take it back get another one, get oil, freon Ipay this allover again. I take it to Fred get it devaced pay another$40.00dollors. Done it`s working Ok, four days later it starts to make a noise I take it back I let one of the sales man hear it he said your A/C clutch is going out. So we go in and I ask to speack to the manager so the general manager comes out I asked So this is the third one I am going to have to put in do I get some kind of help I am having to bey oiland freon again or at least the oil he said no. I said that`s cold it`s cost me$62.00 evertime I chage this and He said if your not happy take it off and bring it back. So he can kiss my@*$! So I brought it back and he said that they were not going to remburst me any of the money because I didn`t let a mechanic do it. THEN WHY DID`NT THEY SAY THATWHEN I BOUGHT IT!!! That`s why it`s a do it your self parts store cause they have a wed site where you can go too!!! So I will NEVER again stop at one of your stores again because of that kind of tretment I`ll go to AUTO ZONE because they said if you get a bad compresser we will give you the oil and freon because that`s our product and we will stand behind it.
