Iwent and paid for all the requirements to change out my A/Ccompresser, dryer, ofuris tub, compresser oil, freon. So Advance Auto#5153 on 50th. Street Lubbock Tx. Is for those that can DO IT YOURSELF store. Now I don`t have the means to devac my system so I took it to a will respected Mechanic he charged me $40.00 to do it. So everything worked good for Two days. I took off the compresser, because it locked up. Went got another one bought the oil and freon and went back and put it on, took it to Fead again got it devaced and filled back up with freon, another $40.00 dollors, the fotrth day it started to make a noise, so I took it back and let one off the parts man hear it and he said"it`s your compresser cluth fixxing to lock up" I told him I just got it four days ago. Went inside asked the general manager if they would at least help me out with the oil or the freon and he said no cause it was not there problem that, that happen. Now he is saying that sence a MECHANIC did`nt instull it I can not get the$80.00 dollors I paid the mechanic to devac it. So why did`nt they say that when I was buying the A/C compresser before I instulled it. Is it not why it`s a do it your self store!!! Now if that`s not a ripoff i don`t know what is "but i a sure you i will till everyone about this and as you know word of mouth will hurt you and you will never get another dollor spent in your stores again".
