In 2001 we purchased our vehicle from a dealership who assigned our contract to AmeriCredit. Americredit closed its doors to Canada not one year later and with them they took Customer Service, if customer service truly exists with this company.
We are having to reissue payments to this company on a regular basis due to misleading, wrong information we are given by the representatives. The company is taurnishing our bureau and charging us extra interest depite our best efforts to pay on time each month. The company states that it is at the consumers risk to listen to the information we receive from AFS reps because there calls are strictly courtesy calls. The company refuses to ammend our bureau and will not remove the extra charges on our account. The assignment of the contract was not done correctly by the dealership and we will be getting our lawyer to follow through with letters of our demands to both AFS and the dealership.
AFS calls everyday and threatens to repo the vehicle due to this dispute.
