I signed up for auto renew of a prescription for Bystolic. Caremark made the error of shipping me two prescriptions for different dosages. I returned one of the two prescriptions which they destroyed upon receipt. They now refuse to credit my account for the returned prescription, and steadfastly refuse to even acknowledge their error in shipping two prescriptions. Even though an auto renew, it is somehow my fault and I am responsible. I begging them to send the amount to collections so I can escalate the issue, as I will never pay for the returned prescription. To make matters worse, Caremark is now refusing to refill my prescription for Avapro, which is suddenly not covered without a prior authorization from my physician. When my physician called, he says he was told they declined to authorize the medication. Besides being thieves incapable of admitting error, they are now substituting their concern for their bottom line for my doctor's medical expertise. Use Caremark knowing you risk your health (and sanity in dealing with them).
