In boise id for a skating competition. My 12 year old and i went to the red lobster there and ordered for myself a platter with clams, flounder, fried shrimp and scallops. My child had "pick 2" kinds of fried shrimp, coconut and tiny shrimp. (whatever they were) i tasted all mine and it just didn't taste good, very very greasy, and my kids coconut was horrible and she didn't eat any of it, nor the salad. (the ranch dressing just wasn't tasty) i ate mine anyway, i was starving. The pina colada i had was good, not the best but good. My flounder's batter fell off and the fish was dry and areas were discolored. The waitress took a long time to bring us ketchup. The bisquits were good, but i just don't like bisquits at a restaurant unless its bfast. The waitress came and asked us if we wanted to go boxes and we said no. I said i wanted some apple crisp to go. I didn't say anything. Next a guy came by and asked if what we had was ok, and i just gently said, well no, and sort of told him. I didn't want to say it was bad, but he said we didn't have to pay for it. I said, its ok, we're not upset, but they took it off anyway. I couldn't believe it! A restaurant finally did the right thing! But unfortunately, the apple crisp wasn't good either, but the last thing i want to say is i've had bad experiences with the last 3 red lobsters i went to, seattle, honolulu and medford oregon. So i'm just not going back. It is not the red lobster my mother and i loved in the late 60's. I loved their hushpuppies, but sadly they are gone...
