Unauthorized charges to credit card for over a year: Deceptive Practices: Unresponsive

I placed an order with Lillian Vernon last year (Dec). My husband takes care of the bills so I did not see that they have been charging us $14.95 a month for over a year for something called Lillian Vernon Rewards I called the number listed next to Lillian Vernon Rewards on my credit card statementto inquire about this and they are only open M-F for limited hours. I then called Lillian Vernon customer service and was told I agreed to this charge when I placed my order. I explained that this was not the case and if so, the website is using deceptive practices. The woman insisted that I had agreed to the charges. She said there was a pop up when I placed my order and I clicked on it to agree to it. If I did click on it, it was probably to close it. I asked to speak to someone else and she hung up on me. I can tell you that I would NEVER pay $14.95 a month for this service. I'm not even sure what this service is. I called my credit card company to dispute these charges. I am certain I will not be ordering from Lillian Vernon again and I will be sure to let my friends, co-workers and acquaintances know via email and web the deceptive practices used bythis company. An Internet search for Lillian Vernon Scams revealed this as an ongoing practice.
