Sears does not honor the integrity of its pricing - Tools, customer service

Sears does not honor the integrity of its pricing. I was in the store today - first day of the sale and they did not have the item. The item was available online the clerk told. Tried to order it online after all kinds of hassles - ended up telling me that there were lots available but they would not honor the price advertised. Called customer service twice and the agent defended the company practice of misleading customers. The item nor the flyer where it was located indicated that this price was only an in store price or promotion. I will not be dealing with this company again.

Consumer beware - it is not acceptable for a company, unless it is otherwise clearly indicated, that they have one price for one area of their company and another somewhere else. The advertised price is the price you must get. After this experience it is clear to me that this company is getting away with it - because customers are too passive to fight back.
