For the last two years I have been trying to get Portfolio Recovery Services to quit harassing me. They have several accounts of mine, ranging from department stores to delinquent electricity bills (so they say) I have asked them to send me something in the mail certified and quit calling me, but they never have. All of these so called delinquent accounts are over 15 years old and I paid them off. The man who was calling me got personal and snotty with me, so I hung up on him and changed my phone number. The harassing phone calls have stopped, but the mail continues to pour in. If these accounts are in deed delinquent, should'nt there be some sort of statute of limitations? I mean they should have fallen off my credit at least twice now.
