I had placed an order with Kaneesha.com for this product http://www.kaneesha.com/larger_view. Cfm? Pid=6893&cid=31. On June 30 and paid $216.10 but the product that I received was of different material. I had ordered a pure silk suit but I received the suit in raw silk and I am allergic to raw silk as it gives me the rashes and does not suit my skin. The workmanship of the product was also of very inferior quality as some threads were coming out of it mirrors were falling apart and some beads were missing from the embroidery. When I asked them why it was not sent to me in pure silk as in the picture, a CSR named Neha said that raw silk and pure silk is the same thing and they are very close to each other. I said but I wanted this in pure silk only that is why I had placed an order. Had I known that they will send this to me in raw silk I would not have ordered at all. When I told here about the poor workmanship then Neha asked me to send the picture of the product to see if it is damaged and I scanned the suit and sent the pictures to her and when she saw the pictures she told me Yes, the material which is used looks like of inferior quality and I do not know why they used this fabric, so please send it back as the cloth used is of inferior quality and they will refund my courier money and product money after the investigation. I sent the damaged good back by DHL which costed me $24 CAD but once they received it they said, oh you sent us the close shot that is why the picture came like this. Actually the material is fine and there is nothing wrong with it. And now they are saying that if you do not want this product then you have to give a restocking fees of 20% and they will not even refund my courier money that they had promised before. I told her that I told you that I have received the item in raw silk then why did you ask me to send it back to you when you were not supposed to do anything. I talked to them 3-4 times but they are not ready to listen and want to dump this on me and I sent them another e-mail saying that this is cheating and fraud and you should not earn money with such a dishonesty.
They have made their rules for their own advantage and now I have received an e-mail where they have cut as $72.82 USD as restocking fee plus $24 CAD as a courier fee. I think this is illegal as I did not receive the product in same material as mentioned in this picture or link then why the question come of restocking and not refunding the full amount.
