I have been an American Express member since 2003. It used to be a feel good to be a member, but not anymore. I am having real problems with American Express. I use them because they use to be a reputable company and it was convenient, some of my Vendors advised it. I have always scheduled my payments between 7 and 10 days in advance but the last 3 months they have changed the due dates like if it is a game so they can charge you late fees. I scheduled a payment due on 30th of September for my American Express Bill. They claim that Charging privileges are suspended, due to a non payment. I call American Express but they give me no answer and it is very hard to communicate with their staff. The Incompetency of the uneducated personnel at American Express is unbelievable. They must have fired everyone with dignity, inelegance and common scenes. I do not understand how a company that claims to be the Small Business Partner has become so reckless and phony to put in respectful terms these spells big problem in a small Business. I tried to speak English to someone there, but all the Americans got fired. I do not understand a word they say. It is embarrassing how all traditional American Companies have vanished and that is how American Express is being run today..
