I have always paid my Khol's card on time. I have had a hard time since 2005 to get billing to change my email. I always assumed it was done. They kept sending my bill to a defunct email. I had shopped there last Easter and forgot I had charged against my Kohl's card. I got a call two months later that said I had not paid my bill. I appologized and said I would pay it immediately. I had not been sent any paper copy of my bill which the billing people acknowledged. They kept sending reminders to my defunct email which should have kicked back to them that it was undeliverable. (The old email company had gone bancrupt) I told the lady who called that that email was no longer mine and I had tried several times to change it with kohl's. (Funny how they can get me at the right email for their sales.) She took off all late charges. Three days later our credit report was attacked by Kohl's. My husband and I have called numerous times and sent letters. He called corporate headquarters and they said they would review it. Two months later and we have heard nothing. We have never had a bad credit report and were very proud of our standing. The billing and collection people are rude. I asked to talk to a supervisor and was told he was too busy and would call me back. He never did. That has happened numerous times and I am berated by collections and billing even though I have tried to change my email with billing. Needless to say I cannot shop there again.
