A family member is receiveing dialysis and when the time was up to be taken off the machine the patient was not taken off and had received at least an 1/2 hour longer on the machine the tech was to busy to remove the patient from the machine. The nurse didnt even attemp to take the patient off the machine she stated the tech will be their. This has occurred twice in a 1 week period. What a un safe practice. No patient should be given more time then prescribed by their Doctor.
