Reply - Dishwashe

I have an extended warranty (until 2013) on my dishwasher that was purchased at Lowe’s. Called the service center about 02/11 to report a noise under the dishwasher. Person came in and said that it’s the motor and the board which must be replaced. This took two weeks to get. My dishwasher still worked its job plus the noise.
He came in on Friday February 26th and tried to replace the motor. Upon seeing that the two rings are missing from the new motor he said that he cannot put the new motor on as the old rings were stretched. When he put the old motor back it did not work and he said that there is nothing he can do (that did not make me happy as we were having friends over for dinner on Saturday).

He said that he will let me know on Monday (March 1st).

I called Lowe’s on Saturday and complained to the assistant manager at about 8.15am about my problem. I complained because to me they should know that the motor need two o-rings. He said that he will call the company and find out what is going on. He called me back at about 10am to say that he is still waiting for them to return his call. I called him at 1.55pm, he was on lunch. I called back at 5.08pm and spoke to the assistant manager and he said that they had not called him back and he will call them on Monday.
3/1
I got a message from the assistant manager to say that the repair company will call me. The repair company left a message for me at about 4.45pm (3/1) to say that they ordered the parts and will know by Tuesday (03/01) or Wednesday (03/03) when the parts will arrive. No call was received by Friday (03/05) by 12.50. I then called the assistant manager who said that he will call the repair people. The repair person called me at 1.17 and said that one o-ring is still to be delivered and he will let me know on Monday (03-08). He then said that we might as well make the appointment for Wednesday (03-10).

This to me is just ridiculous that I must keep on calling to find out the status on my repairs (I know they are busy, BUT I am a customer and I paid for the service (if you can call it that). Why do I have to pay for the extended warranty and get so much problems?

Thanks
