When hired on to USXpress some others and myself were promised a certain amount per year. Well, that was never given to us, but the pay was good, I'll admit that!
Finally, after a month, we get raises! WOO HOO Still not quite what they quoted us during interviews, but it is still reasonable and still better than slingin' burgers.
One more month goes by with our wonderful raises, and what happens? We get a BIG suprise on our paycheck one day. Yeah, they take almost $350 from us. We get paid biweekly, that is $175 a week, quite a chunk of change.
You'd think someone would have the decency to tell us before we all choke on our midnight snacks. But no... Well, the next step was to, as we would all do, go to our supervisor. Who respons with, "OH YEAH! Hey, by they way guys, we made a mistake when telling and paying you your salary a month ago, so we are taking it from you!"
You know, I don't even think we are making as much now, as we were in training, or before the "salary raise". Matter of fact, I know we aren't.
I'm writing this in hopes of someone else getting the balls and writing what happened to them, maybe if we get enough people to tell their story on this website, we might just get an explination, or atleast an apology!
