USXpress should be pulled in at every weigh station in the USA Because they have no idea what HAZMAT is me and the wife Picked up a load at New Penn in PA it had 55 lbs. Of ammonia Inhalation hazard in the emergency response book it say for Any amount you or the company has to have a government Approved fresh air supplied aparatus gas mask on the truck USXpress does not and they will not supply one yet they Continue to run these loads once a week on I-76 in PA
The law states that if you know and are placarded with A hazardous substance you cant route on a roadway Where there are tunnels if you even get on that Roadway just because it does have tunnels you can And will get a ticket and possible jail time for knowingly Entering any like roadway with a HAZARDOUS MATERIAL Yet me and the wife were told to follow their route On I-76 and with a PA DOT OFFICER in my truck reading This message on usxpress satcom onboard
He told us if we Even get on I-76 west out of Carlisle, PA he would give us a Ticket and possible jail so we called and put on hold for an Hour and talked to our FM told her we need to change the Route she said safety has to do it, we got a hold of safety They said we cant change the route that our Fleet Mngr. Has to we talked to our fleet mngr. Again she then just Follow the route we could and would not
We told them our New route and delivered our load after that we started Losing miles per week because we did what we were Supposed to do by LAW and their company policy is if An officer of the law request that you change your route Then tell your fleet mngr. And they will change your route We did they refused to change the route and since we Do know the hazmat laws and their the company rules
We change the route ourselves because I am not Going to go to jail for USXpress or their fleet mngrs. Because they dont know the law for HAZMAT LOADS THEY HAUL IN THEIR TRLS. But usxpress fleet mngrs. Made it look like we refused to do something they Told us to do we could not by law and we get Punished for it by taking our miles away we as Truck driver cant make a living out here if you Take Way our miles for doing our jobs the right Way by the law
