I hired island wide to reroof approx 500 sq. Ft.included, they were supposed to sweep roof, clean gutters and install 2 skylights and clean any debris left over. They had used some of the old duroid when there were still 2 full bundles left, didnt sweep or clean the gutters. He was also told to use a minimum of 18" flashing on the roof and it appears there was only 6". They cut holes in the roof for the skylights without measuring properly. I spoke to the owner of the company (Andrew Linklater) and he assured me he would be back to finiish the job. I had another bldg contractor here to build a new deck and he said he would install the proper flashing and complete the skylights. At an extra cost of $550.00. Island roofing was paid in full for material and labor with the understanding he would be back on the following onday to do a full inspection. I have not heard from Island roofing since April 10/10. I have my own cleaning company and pride myself and all my staff in giving excellent service. I am totally disgucusted with Island roofing and would not recommend them to anyone.
