I have been an eSnipe user for many years. A co-worker overheard me say that I loved shopping on eBay but it was a drag having to stay up to bid in the middle of the night sometimes to get my bid in at the last part of the auction. She turned me on to eSnipe and I have been using them to bid for me ever since.
ESnipe is an on-line auction bidding service that is so easy to use. You just enter the eBay auction number, the most you are willing to pay for the item and then they take over for you. They hold your bid on their servers and do a checkup for you, anywhere from 10-90 minutes before the auction ends to make sure you haven't been outbid. If you have, they send you an email so you can change your bid amount if you still want the item. If you are still in the running, they will keep holding on to your bid until just seconds before the auction ends and place it for you on eBay. You choose the number of seconds before the auction ends that you want them to submit your bid. They call that your buffer time. I choose a 6 which is their default. If your maximum is high enough you win. What is so great about that is that you don't even have to have your computer on to have them bid for you.
ESnipe also lets you change your mind with at least 5 minutes before your bid is scheduled to be placed. This is a wonderful feature for me because sometimes I find something better and I don't have to worry because eSnipe doesn't care if I delete a bid, as long as it is done 5 minutes before they bid for me.
Another great thing is their bid group feature. If I want to buy something in particular, like a camera. I just create and name my bid group, find auction listings for the camera I want and as long as there is at least 5 minutes from the end of one auction and the start of the next, I can put them all in my bid group. When you enter each bid you select the bid group at the same time. Then eSnipe will bid for you on each auction in your bid group until you win one item. Then they cancel the rest of the bids in the group. This works well for me, especially since I work and don't really have the time to be sitting by my computer waiting to see if I win one auction before bidding on the next.
Now, you can even download their SnipeIt! Tool and use it to bid from your mobile phone. They also have a facebook page that includes tips that you might not know and some of their oldest users reveal some of their bidding secrets. They twitter too. And, if you have any questions they have real people there to answer them 7 days a week.
There are so many great things to say about eSnipe. The best thing is that I highly recommend them. I am so glad that I found them, because they sure have worked for me. I couldn't be happier.
