False and misleading advertising of how their site works, failure to respond to inquiries

Xbids.com is using misleading advertising that looks like a news station reporter that has reviewed their site, supposedly won merchandise on it, and is recommending it. Their site claims that if you are the highest bidder when the time on the auction runs out that you are the winner. However, the clock resets repeatedly as it nears zero and people place last second bids, and there is no explanation available as to how this process works (sometimes it resets to 15 seconds, sometimes to 30, etc.) or how an auction actually ends. As of yet, they have not responded to my request for the rules about how this works or how an auction is actually concluded. I was actively bidding on and monitoring several auctions. One was for a MacBook computer. Several people were bidding and the price was extraordinarily low. All of the auctions I was monitoring and bidding on were having their clock reset when it got near zero and someone placed a new bid. Suddenly, the MacBook auction ended with a price that was extraordinarily low (95% discount) for the number of people who had supposedly been actively bidding on it. I submitted a bid at the final seconds but my bid did not show up. It was very suspicious. Beware of this site!
