I have been a customer of CareCredit GE MoneyBank for 18 months, and I diligently paid every month as soon as I received the email that my statement was up. This month I realized there had been small finance charges each month on my statements, and called to inquire about the origin of these fees. The "supervisor" on the phone was extremely and inappropriately rude to my inquiries, and snapped that they only keep records for one year. I replied that my contract was for 18 months, and that they couldn't expect me to pay a charge that no one could confirm the origins of. I asked him to please refer me to someone who could help me. He replied that I shouldn't expect them to solve my problems, and that it's not his fault I didn't call earlier. His tone of voice was truly demeaning, and when the exchange was over, he hung up on me.
I believe a responsible credit company should keep accurate records during the course of an active contract. My records were complete, therefore I was calling to inquire about this mystery charge. I have never encountered a ruder customer service person than this "supervisor".
