Sent my Blazer from Florida to my daughter in Oregon last Nov. 2009. When it arrived in Oregon, Monty tried to keep my daughter from seeing the roof damage and broken antenna by not doing a walk-around. Finally when she saw it and asked what happened? Monty said he had a chain break. He said to fax the "bill of lading" and a body shop estimate (which turned out to be $1100) to Don at his Montana office and he would take care of it. She faxed it and he did nothing for 5 weeks because there is a 15 day limit after delivery to file any damage claims. No wonder Monty didn't turn in the claim to his insurance. And by the way don't think the transport company (Suncoast Auto Transport Ft Lauderdale Fl) who found Monty to haul my truck is going to help you, they already have their money just like Monty does. So after dozens of phone calls to Don and Monty I finally told Monty to just pay me $400 and I'll find someone to fix it. So the phone calls continue to Montys manager Don to see if he's going to do the honorable thing and pay for damages he caused. According to Don, Monty will pay me in 3 weeks. He said that on 2/25/10. What neither one of them understand is if I can keep just 2 people from using Montys Auto Deliver he has lost more money than if he would have just paid me in the first place! I'm waiting until 3/18/10 lets see if he'll pay me? Check back to this blog or email me at to find out.
