High price-low quality-lower customer service

As a customer you have the right to expect certain levels of quality based upon the price, and representation of the company. When dealing with Ashley furniture of Grapevine Tx., you can't expect either because they don't care about making sure they keep customers for life. All they seem to be interested in is the accidental warranty and selling it to you.

After purchasing their millenium leather sofa and lover seat, within 2 years the product is splitting at the seams and the leather has faded in spots. Since they only warranty their product for 1 year, they obviuosly know that it won't last much longer then that.

I tried to work with them, but when i spoke with the store customer service, before i could even finish my question, the rep bellowed that they only cover for 1 year, as if they need to say this frequently. I then tried to work with corporate who only referred me back to the store.

So i am stuck with a product that was misrepresented as a long lasting durable product without any real way to fix.

In summary, anyone dealing with this company should probably do their homework, and insist on longer warranties or make comparisons with other companies before they purchase.in other words buyer beware!
