Im the owner of 2008 gmc sierra fully loaded with a lift kit bought the truck brand new ($65,000) it has 52,000 kms.
I drove the truck to the dealership to get warranty work done. They took the truck apart then called and said the truck can not be fixed under warranty because it had a lift kit. "But the truck has already had work done on it with the lift kit that was covered under warranty?" I said. They replied by telling me that was "good will warranty" the service manager replied. After arguing and being disrepected I hung up
This is not the dealer that I bought my truck from... So when I phoned my dealer they said they have no problem fixing it just bring it down. I phoned smith chev olds and told them I would be taking my truck to the other dealership. They told me it was not driveable and would have to be fixed at a cost! I told them I drove it down there I will be driving it out of there.
