I am the mother of the bride and feel responsible for sending the entire bridal to Added Attractions in Garwood NJ. It was on my recommendation they go to a small boutique type business which I thought would have better customer service and may help the little guy. Many years ago I used Added Attractions for my daughters communion and did not have a problem. However, I can not say the same this time. After the girls paid almost $200.00 for their dresses and $120.00 in alteration fees, upon picking up the gowns 2 of the dresses had stains and one of the dresses had a pull. A total of 5 were purchased. I called several times and left messages but never received the courtesy of a return call. I finally reached a person I could talk to and it was a very young girl. I asked to talk to the owner but she would not get on the phone. I could hear her in the background telling the girl what to say; I was told " just don't worry about it". When I asked why the dresses had stains, I was told "the fabric is delicate". What does that mean? So be more careful. Added Attractions is going to have one dress cleaned and the other girls will wear the dresses with the stain and pull. I feel the girls purchased new dresses, why would they have the need for dry cleaning? And what could be the reason for stains and pulls. Upon returning one week later to pick up the dry cleaned gown I noticed another stain, to which the owners comment was "oh i did not see that one" and she stated she will send it out again to be cleaned again. I was offered no apology and was treated like I was a bother and should take the gown as is. I don't even know if the cleaned gown will match the other none cleaned gowns in color. I am very disappointed with Added Attractions. "Shame on you", you are in the hall of shame. Very poor customer service. You give the little guy a bad name.
