I have done Hair Extentions for years and heard of a new product called Great Lengths. The training location is located in Kansas City Missouri. I contaced them for more information.
I decided to have them put in my hair first to evaluate the quality of the service. It took 10 hours to have them put in. I soon found out that this was an overpriced rip off. They looked great at first. With in the first 2 months they became matted. The glue then turned a dark color in my blond hair. The hair became frizzy. After taking them out my hair was severly damaged.
The stylist and I spoke to was very nice and rang Great Lengths. She said that it was hard to get them to ring her back. When she finally reached someone they said that they had never heard of this happening before. They asked that we send in one piece to get tested. After 2 months and numerous phone calls later they finally told my stylist that they were not at fault and had no idea what had happened.
I then contaced other Salons to find out there experience with Great Lengths. I found that they had similar problems and more, including a well known famous extentionist in California.
Once again my stylist contaced them and they were of no help.
Great Lengths is an over priced, hair damaging rip off experience. I too was left with bald spots, and extremely damaged hair after the 2 days it took to get them out.
