First of all our time with AT&T has been terrible. The service is terrible and tech support is based in Malaysia. Back in 2009 we "upgraded" from a split T1 line (phone lines and data were divided over the T1) to a dedicated T1 line.
Ever since we "upgraded" to our dedicated T1 line the billing never stopped from our split T1 line. Luckily we caught this a few months ago. The current total that we overpaid was a little over $9,000. After notifying AT&T of this it took them four months just to get us in contact with the people who deal with this. Even then the only thing they will offer us is a credit to our account.
And I can't go without mentioning all of the problems we have had with our new T1 going down. It drops at least once a month on average for about 4-24hrs. I am hoping to get out of the contract with them but the people at AT&T can't seem to figure out how much it will be, they only assure me that it will be a very large sum. If any of you guys can find a loop hole out there to get out of the contract it would be much appreciated.
I happened to stumble upon AT&T's service agreements for broadband. If you are stuck in they're limbo hell you might want to look at this.
