Our family recently "upgraded" to new 4g phones during Thanksgiving. We did resign our contact, as we were happy with the service we were receiving at the time, and were informed that nothing would be changing in our contract. One month later I receive a text that I am nearing the limit on my data. After contacting customer service, I was imformed that we no longer had the 5gb data limit per line, as we previously had, it had been changed to 2gb. She was "really sorry" that I was not informed about this change in their data plans, and would let the store where we renewed know about their error, but that was all they were willing to do. She also suggested using wifi when I was able, and to not stream music and video, as this really uses data. I Cellcom thinks I got a 4g phone to make calls better, not to for its superior streaming ability. I also found that on a family plan like ours the price for 5gb of data on the primary line went from $40.00 to $120.00 a month!
