When placing my Free Trial order for Extend Pet (S&H$3.95) on Jan 19, I noticedthat I must cancel the order within 14days, or be billed for a 30 day supply every month. I thought I wasreceiving enough to last 14 days. Nothing was stated you have toaccept "Terms and Conditions" prior to placing the order. Ireceived the product on Jan 24th, well inside the 14-day trialperiod. However, I happened to check myonline charge card account 10 daysafter placing the order (Jan 29) and noticed that I had been charged $149.95 fora membership fee plus a $1.49 foreign transaction fee. I immediately filed a complaint with mycredit card issuer, who put me in touch with their fraud department. The fraud agent tried to call the contactnumber given to his bank for the company that had submitted the creditcharge. When he received no answer tohis call I was informed that had put the company in violation of the agreementwith the bank for them to do business with the bank. That is, they were supposed to maintain a24-hour contact number with the bank. Atmy request, he immediately put a block on any future charges to my account andopened an investigation of the transaction. On Jan 31, twelve days after my submitting my order for the product, Iwent back to the Extend Pet website and sent the requisite e-mail to support@supportproducts123. Comto cancel any further relationship with the company. While at their website I happened to notice that the time window for cancelingthe terms of the agreement had been reduced to 10 days, not the 14 days statedat the time I originally submitted my order. I am presently in a 60-day waiting periodwhile my bank completes their investigation.
